Businesses that are successful and continuously growing sometimes have the need to hire additional employees. But hiring additional help adds overhead and cuts into your business profits. Not only that, but sometimes you don’t really need full time help.
I have been doing virtual assistant tasks for years as my part-time job while I was working in a corporate industry in telecommunications companies. But, just recently, I have decided to focus more on this kind of work because I enjoy it and it is meaningful to my clients.
As a virtual assistant, I get to help my clients who are in a similar position. If you are feeling overwhelmed, I would love to help you on this freelancing journey.
If you want to know how I do my tasks, you may run through this blog entry for you to see and know about some of the few facts about me so you will know how I do my tasks if you are looking for reasons on why you should hire me as your virtual assistant.
I am highly dependable
If I say I will do something, definitely I will. I always stick to my deadlines and I always like to submit tasks before the deadline so it would be easier for me to focus on other tasks and do other activities that I need to do for my client.
I am a good problem-solver
As an experienced virtual assistant, I am comfortable coming up with creative solutions for the problems in the business. If I have never done something before, I will invest more time in understanding on how to do it or find someone better suited to help me.
I am a clear communicator and also a good listener
I listen carefully to each of my client’s needs before I start working. In most cases, I do have a weekly 45-minute catch-up with my clients. It gives us a chance to review any previously completed tasks and work, discuss modifications, and also outline other upcoming projects. I also send emails to keep my clients informed and updated and I use online tools like Google Calendar, and Trello (a project management system), etc., to clearly manage everything. It also offers my clients a visual way to keep apprised about what I am working and what is going on.
I am a self-starter
Once I know more about the business goals and values, I will be comfortable working independently on projects that benefit the business. I am always available for discussion but I understand that many business owners need someone who they can trust to make good decisions. Occasionally, I will also have suggestions for how to better manage particular projects, which I was doing previously when I was working in a corporate industry few months ago. I am open to changes, and very flexible as well.
